Helen Iles

Helen Iles, age 92, of Marion passed away Monday, March 19, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor.

Helen was born March 4, 1926 in Marion, Indiana the daughter of the late Andrew and Elsie Anna (Totorez) Smith.  She married Virgil Iles and he preceded her in death in 1973.

Helen worked at EDS as a Keypunch operator and had also worked at Fisher Body in Marion and Studebaker in South Bend, Indiana.  She was an avid antique collector.

She is survived by nieces Monaei Wolf of Marion, Heidi Wilson of Marion and Arlana Smith-Jones of Indianapolis; nephews, Brian Wilson of Kansas City, Missouri and Noel Smith of Florida; great-niece, Tesa Forrester-Prater of Indianapolis; and great-nephews, Rodney Smith of Dallas, Texas and Kevin Smith of Chicago, Illinois.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 22, 2018 at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.

Arrangements entrusted to Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
