Marie Mayberry

Marie Mayberry, age 92, formerly of Swayzee, Indiana passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at Heritage Pointe, Warren, Indiana.

Marie was born July 23, 1925 in Stoddard County, Missouri, the daughter of the late Edward and Della (Cokley) Arnold.  She married Walter Mayberry on January 17, 1947 and he preceded her in death on December 17, 2002.  Marie was a homemaker.

She is survived by sons, Ronald C. Mayberry (Denise) of Houston, Texas, and Terry E. Mayberry (Sharon) of Linden, Michigan; a daughter, Brenda D. Romine (Richard) of Swayzee, Indiana; 10 grandchildren, Carla Van Horn, Amy Carroll, Jason Neal, Jenny Boyd, Sara Neal, Tyler Romine, Lauren Gallagher, Zachary Mayberry, Aaron Mayberry and Marissa Mayberry; 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great granchildren.

Marie was also preceded in death by a grandson, Kerry Joseph Van Horn; four brothers, and one sister.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2018 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Chaplain Gerald Moreland officiating.

Burial will follow in Thrailkill Cemetery, Swayzee, Indiana.
