Richard W. Beck, age 86, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017 in Florida.

Richard was born May 18, 1931, in Salem, Indiana, the son of the late William and Eulah (Durnil) Beck.  On October 28, 1956 he married Marilyn Sue Woolman, and she preceded him in death on May 30, 2012.

He was the owner of Modlin Printing in Marion until his retirement in 1994.  He was also an Army veteran and the former District Commander of the American Legion Post # 313, Fairmount, Indiana.

He is survived by a brother, Jerry L. Beck (Mary); and two sisters, Connie Ayres (Jim) and Sue Griffith (Wilbur), all of Marion, Indiana.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, William Lloyd Beck.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017 in Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Memorial Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Nagel officiating.

Burial will be held in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
