Robert L. Pearson, age 76, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 in his Marion home.

Robert was born on January 13, 1941 in Marion, Indiana the son of the late Robert L. Pearson, Sr. and Margaret (Enslen) Pearson.  He married Lillian Binnion on December 18, 1992, and she survives.  Robert worked as a brick mason prior to working at General Motors for 21 years until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Lillian Pearson of Marion; daughters, Donna Kay (Rick) Loney of Hart, Michigan, Martha Pearson of Indianapolis, and Thelma (Tim) Coffey of Swayzee; step-sons, Danny (Linda) Walker of Marion, Tim (Tina) Walker of Ft. Wayne and Bobby (Tappy) Walker of Huntington; step-daughters, Nina (Lee) Jorgenson of Van Buren, Judy (Jim) Philbeck of Huntington, Rita (Ron) Green of Huntington, Christy (Bud) Kierstead of Anderson, and Tammy (Denver) Woods of Upland; step brother, Robert (Diane) Bandy of Gas City; 19 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Darrell Smith officiating.

Burial will take place in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana following funeral services.
