Stephen E. Lines, age 66, of Atwood, Indiana passed away December 24, 2017 at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Stephen was born September 4, 1951 in Marion, Indiana the son of the late Arthur and Mary (Warders) Lines.  He was an orthopedic tool and die maker in Warsaw for 40 years.  He was also an Army veteran.  His proudest moment was seeing his grandson Conner born.

He enjoyed listening to music and had played the violin as a child.  He also played guitar and enjoyed being around his friends.  He was an avid fisherman and had a large garden.

He is survived by his son, Steve Lines (Mistie Beach) of Syracuse, Indiana; two sisters, Rebecca (James) Farr of Marion and Susan Hurt of DuPont, Washington; 3 grandchildren, Conner Lines, Kyle Platt, and Alyson Brown.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Hubartt.

Friends and family may call from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Jahn officiating. 

Burial will be held in Estates of Serenity, Marion, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, 2121 Lake Avenue, Ft. Wayne, Indiana 46805.
