Glen Edward Guyre, age 91, died at 10:50 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2010, at Community Hospital of Anderson, Anderson, Indiana.
Glen was born on May 18, 1918, in Amboy, Indiana, the son of the late Wilbur and Myrta (Eller) Guyre. He married Nettie McClain and she preceded him in death on February 21, 1993.
Glen worked as a dispatcher at Delco Remy in Anderson, Indiana for 33 years, retiring in 1974. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Alexandria.
Survivors include: two sons, Stephen Edward Guyre (Donna) of Alexandria, Indiana, and Stanley Craig Guyre of Anderson , Indiana; one sister, Ilene Sheridan of Marion, Indiana; 7 grandchildren & 8 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Nellie Miller.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 11 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
Friends may call from noon until services Monday at the funeral home.
