MIKE W. CARTER

Mike W. Carter, age 47, of Marion, died at 11:34 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2010, at home.

Mike was born on February 27, 1963, in Marion, Indiana, the son of the late Herbert Carter and Margie (Gaskins) Carter, who survives.

He was a loader at the WalMart Distribution Center. He enjoyed fishing, camping, boating and repairing & rebuilding computers.

Survivors include: mother, Margie Carter of Marion, Indiana; daughter, Ashley Carter of League City, Texas; brother, Richard Carter (Paula) of Marion, Indiana; sister, Debra Fox (Randy) of Marion, Indiana; and nephews, Rick Carter, Jr. of Lagro, Indiana; Chris Fox of Indianapolis, Indiana; and Jason & Courtney Gandee of Marion, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Carter and a sister Linda Carter.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2010, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating.

Burial will be in Grant Memorial Park, Marion, Indiana.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until services on Saturday, March 6 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.

Memorial contributions can be made to Cancer Services of Grant County, 305 S. Norton Avenue, Tower Suites, Marion, Indiana 46952.
