Bobby G. Clem, Jr.

Bobby G. Clem, Jr., age 42, of Marion passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018 in his home.

Bobby was born December 11, 1975 in Marion, Indiana the son of the late Bobby G. Clem, Sr. and Kimberly (Carroll) Herring.  His mother survives. 

Bobby attended Indiana State University for one year.  He then went on to graduate from CHT Institute for Hair in Marion.  He worked at various salons in Marion and also Applebee’s Restaurant and Good Time Charlies.  He loved being a part of this community.  Bobby knew everyone and they knew him.  He would give you the shirt off his back.  He loved bears and stars.  Bobby was quick with a joke and could brighten up the room with his contagious smile!  He will truly be missed! 

Bobby is survived by his mother, Kimberly Herring (Steven) of Marion; sister, Amber Burbank (Andrew) of Gas City; step-brother, Will (Sheba) Herring of Ft. Wayne; his Goddaughter, Lilly Chitwood of Marion; nephews, Bryson Clem and Braylon Timmons, both of Gas City; companion, Jesse R. Myers of Anderson; special friends, Bart Frazier of Dallas, Texas and Cicily Harvey of Marion; and his beloved dogs, Journey and Piglet.  He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Dean and Pauline Carroll and Bill and Martha Clem.

Friends and family may call from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. 

Visitation will also be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 27, 2018 in the funeral home.  Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Dave Toevs officiating.  Cremation will take place following funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Services of Grant County, 305 S. Norton Avenue, Tower Suites, Marion, Indiana 46952; or to the Marion-Grant County Humane Society, 505 S. Miller Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953.
