Dennis C. Sutton, age 58, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in his home.

Dennis was born September 27, 1958 in Marion, Indiana to Doris (Field) Sutton-Spears.  He was an Army veteran and worked as a pipe layer for Miller Pipeline for 10 years.

Dennis was a member of the Freedom Riders and loved riding his Harley Davidson fat boy.  He also loved to fish.  Dennis will be sadly missed by his friends and family.

He is survived by his mother, Doris Spears of Marion; three sons, Dylan Sutton (Sarah) of Marion, Tyler Sutton of Indianapolis and Lance Sutton of Marion; brother, Tom Sutton of Marion; two sisters, Suzi Sutton and Jodi Sutton, both of Marion; 2 grandchildren, James Sutton and Landon Morgan; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Clyde Spears and a brother, Monte Sutton.

Friends and family may call from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral Services will follow at noon with Reverend Mark Hummel officiating.

Burial with military honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 7, 2017 in Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
