Helen J. (Gause) Wright

Helen J. (Gause) Wright, age 95, of Marion passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at York Place Assisted Living in Marion.

Helen was born May 15, 1923 in Marion, Indiana the daughter of the late Tom and Genevieve (Ross) Gause.  She was the 10th child born of 12 siblings.  Helen was a 1941 graduate of Marion High School and attended Marion Business College. 

During the war Helen worked at Farnsworth Radio.  She then worked at Crosley Motors and later retired from RCA in 1982 after 34 years of service.  She had attended College Wesleyan Church and was a member of the RCA Sympathy Club, the MGH Auxiliary for 19 years, the Women of the Moose Auxiliary for 36 years and the Tri-Y Club at the YWCA.  Helen had also enjoyed bowling at Plaza Bowl in Marion on the Senior Bowling League.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Consuelo Gause, and four generations of nieces and nephews. 

Helen was also preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Frederick Gause, Rawland Gause, Forrest Gause, Richard Gause, James Gause, Paul Gause, Donald Gause, Harold Gause, Esther Eltzroth, Isabelle Gander and Margarette Gause.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Dr. Joseph Seaborn officiating.

Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana immediately following funeral services.
