Leatrice A. "Jacky" Ihrie

Leatrice A. “Jacky” Ihrie, age 88, of Van Buren, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018 in her home.

Jacky was born January 29, 1930 in Lynn Grove, Indiana to the late Crittendon and Edna Lucille (Heckman) Mason.  She married Charles “Chuck” Ihrie in 1972, and he preceded her in death on March 3, 2013.

Jacky worked as an instrument technician at Marion General Hospital for 30 years until her retirement.  She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

She is survived by a sister, Willadean Harte of Van Buren, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Thurlow and Robert Mason and a sister, Gwendolyn Hess.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Van Buren Church of the Nazarene, 305 S. 1st Street, Van Buren, Indiana.  Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Jeff Slater officiating.

Burial will take place at Jones Cemetery, Warren, Indiana.
