Linda K Lyons, 79, of Marion, passed away at 12:54 p.m. on September 1, 2017 at St. Vincent Carmel Hospital, Carmel, Indiana. 

She was born on June 16, 1938 in Rigdon, Indiana to Verliss and Reba J. Abernathy. 

Linda loved to go to church and was a lifelong resident of Marion. 

Linda is survived by two daughters, Darla (Russ) Harwood, Cicero, Indiana, and Debbie (Gerry) Routh, Tampa, Florida; three grandchildren, Brad Harwood, Greenwood, Indiana, Ariane Tucker, Kennesaw, Georgia, and Abbie Robinson, Tampa, Florida; seven great grandchildren; and one brother Joe (Nancy) Abernathy, Marion.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Verliss and Reba Abernathy and one brother, Dick Abernathy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 7, in Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion. Burial will be in Forrestville Cemetery, Elwood, Indiana.

Visitation is from 4–7:00 p.m. Wednesday September 6 at the funeral home, and 1 hour prior to services on Thursday.
