Lois K. Whelchel

Lois K. Whelchel, age 66, of Marion passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019.

Lois was born March 11, 1953 in Grand Forks, N. Dakota the daughter of the late June (Iverson) Morin.  She married Richard Whelchel, and he survives.

Lois worked for various florists in Florida.  She loved to go fishing and especially enjoyed sewing and did it every day.  Lois loved God and was a follower of Jesus Christ.  She loved her family and always wanted the best for her children.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Whelchel of Marion; two sons, Daniel Coy of Marion and Jason Coy of Missouri; two daughters, Amanda and Lesa, both of Missouri; a sister, Diane Carpenter of Florida; 4 grandchildren; and her beloved Yorkie, Chief.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Laura Narlock.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
