Paul E. Warpool

Paul E. Warpool, age 77, of Marion passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 in his home.

Paul was born on April 22, 1942 in Madison, Tennessee the son of the late Jesse James and Mary Jane (Sullivan) Warpool.  He worked at RCA for 39 years until his retirement. 

He married Sally Jefferies on October 6, 2003 and she preceded him in death on September 25, 2017.  Paul was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Reds, NASCAR Racing, especially driver Jimmie Johnson and a W.W.E. fan.  He also enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing pool, softball, shuffleboard and going to the casino.  He was a member of the Amvets and the American Legion.  Paul was a very family oriented man and loved Sunday dinners and cookouts, playing basketball and family card games.

Paul is survived by his children, Vonda (Bill) Coots of Elwood, Lisa (Tim) Drew of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Paula Ginsbach of Muncie, Glenn (Michelle) Warpool of Elwood, Steven (Anna) Warpool of Marion, Judy (Shawn) Fox of Elwood, Missy (Jim) Gibson of Gas City, Chris (Patty) Hale of Van Buren and Brad (Carol) Hale of North Dakota; brothers, Sam Warpool and Alfred Warpool; sister, Sara Jane Cobbs; 14 grandchildren, Brad Coots, Joshua Shuler, Jessica Johnson, Jacey Thompson, Brad Warpool, Austin Warpool, Jordan Ginsbach, Kayla Higgins, Derrick, Zach, Christopher and Hailey Rittenhouse, Dakota Hale and Michael Gibson; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Paul was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and John Warpool; and two sisters, Melinda Lousie Garrett and Ella Mae Hailey.

Friends and family may call from 4:00 to7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 28, 2019 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral Services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Hummel officiating.
