Sally M. Rusby, went to her heavenly reward at 1:05 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1, 2017.

Sally was born in Marion, Indiana on February 11, 1940, the daughter of the late J. Wilbur and Catharine E. Rusby.  She was employed for many years as an executive secretary at General Tire until her retirement in 2000.  She graduated from Bennett High School, class of 1958.

Sally was an avid golfer back in the day, enjoying the company of many good friends.  She was a past member of the Meshingomesia Country Club, Women of the Moose in Marion, and a long standing parishioner of St. Paul Catholic Church in Marion. 

Sally is survived by brothers, Robert P. Rusby of Kernville, California and Richard M. Rusby of Lincoln, California; sisters, Suzanne Bier of Laguna Niguel, California, Margret E. Gentry of Marion and Anne M. Ortiz of San Bernardino, California.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, James W. Rusby and sister, Catharine E. Simons. 

Funeral Mass Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2017 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1009 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Father Richard Weisenberger officiating.

Friends and family may call from noon to 1:00 p.m. prior to the Funeral Mass in the church.
