Amanda L. Carrico

Amanda L. Carrico, a beloved home health care worker, left this world far too soon on January 6, 2026, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Born on February 15, 1994, in Muncie, Indiana, Amanda brought joy and kindness into the lives of those around her, wearing her heart on her sleeve and shining bright with a spirit that was truly one of a kind.

Amanda found deep fulfillment in her work as a home health care worker, where she dedicated herself to caring for others with compassion and grace. Her nurturing nature extended beyond her profession; she was known to light up the room with her laughter and warmth. She had a special connection with animals, often seen doting on pets and advocating for their welfare. Those who knew her can recall moments of lightheartedness where she would revel in coloring activities, letting her creativity flow while sharing a laugh with family and friends.

An avid reader, Amanda had a particular fondness for the works of Edgar Allan Poe. Her love for music added another layer to her vibrant personality, and it wasn't uncommon to find her lost in the rhythms of melodies that spoke to her soul. She enjoyed teasing and irritating her father, Mike Carrico, in playful banter that always left him both exasperated and amused.

Amanda’s family was everything to her, and she treasured her relationships deeply. She is survived by her father, Mike Carrico; her grandfather Jack Cline; her sisters, Danielle Mullenix and Cara (Joshua Webb) Cline; her cherished nephew, Isaac Mullenix; her loving niece, Ivy Simone; and her special cousin and best friend, Haylee Segovia. Each of these individuals played an irreplaceable role in her life, and the bonds they shared will forever be etched in their hearts.

Amanda's spirit now joins that of her beloved mother, Staci Carrico, who passed before her. The two are reunited, embracing one another once again.

While Amanda leaves behind a void that cannot be filled, her legacy of love, laughter, and compassion lives on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her. She will be remembered not only for her infectious laughter but also for her generous heart and the vibrant spirit that she shared so freely with the world. Amanda L.
