Amy Jean Pond, age 38, went to be with the Lord and was united with her brother and grandparents in Heaven on Sunday, February 9, 2014, in Marion, Indiana.
Amy was born on March 7, 1975, in Bluffton, Indiana, the daughter of John Pond and Melody Tucker, who survive. She worked in home health care.
Amy attended God's House Church and believed in Jesus as her Savior. The family takes great comfort from that. She loved watching her boys play sports and her boys were her life.
Survivors include: father, John Pond of Willshire, Ohio; mother, Melody Tucker of Marion, Indiana; step-mother, Rosie Pond of Willshire, Ohio; two sons, Dakota Pond and Naseem Banks, both of Marion, Indiana; brother, Keith Evans (Tiffany) of Converse, Indiana; two sisters, Erica Pond of Willshire, Ohio, and Zoe Tucker of Marion, Indiana; special aunts, Debbie Cloud and Leah Boyle; nieces and nephews, Taylor, Gerrick, Keith Robert, Baileigh, Raegan and Owen; two grandchildren, Harmony Pond and one on the way; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Jed Pond.
Memorial Services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 16, 2014, at God's House, 216 West 6th Street, Marion, Indiana, with Reverend Ryan McCarty officiating. Friends may call from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday in the church prior to Memorial Services.
