Barbara J. Williams, age 69, of Sweetser passed away peacefully February 28, 2017 in her home surrounded by her family.

Barbara was born on December 27, 1947 the daughter of the late Harry and Betty June (Anderson) Yeakle.  She married Clarence Williams on December 19, 1964 and he survives.

Barbara was a homemaker and enjoyed doing volunteer work especially for Help the Hopeful.  She also loved crafting and being a caretaker for her family.  She was a member of the American Legion and the Amvets Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence; two sons, Andrew (Tina) Williams and Matthew (Ihapera) Williams; three daughters, Bobbie Jo (Paul) Stringfellow, Nicole (Erik) Russell and Maggie Ensor; six brothers, Wes Yeakle, Daryl (Robin) Yeakle, Jay (Malaya) Yeakle, Tony Yeakle, Greg (Stephanie) Yeakle and Tim (Danny) Yeakle; three sisters, Vickie (Rick) Connett, Patty Kerschner and Carol (John) Lawson; 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Friends and family may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2017 in the funeral home with Pastor Gary Dalton officiating.

Burial will immediately follow funeral services in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Help the Hopeful, 618 Val Lane, Marion, Indiana 46952.
