Chad J. Kelly

Chad J. Kelly, a devoted father, loving son, and cherished brother, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2025, in Huntington, Indiana, at the age of 47. Born on July 21, 1978, in Marion, Indiana, Chad's life was a testament to kindness, love, and family.

As a truck driver, Chad navigated the roads with the same care and dedication he brought to his relationships. He had a kind heart, always showing concern for others and cherishing his time spent with family. His love for his children was boundless, and he took great pride in being a father. He leaves behind eight adoring children: Allison (Jeremy) Beagle, Erica Kelly, Natalie (Mitch) Zeck, Haleigh Kelly, Brandon Kelly, Michael Kelly, Dustin Kelly, and Kyler Kelly.

Chad is survived by his mother, Tammy Tyree, and his stepfather, Scott Tyree, who together provided him with unwavering support and encouragement throughout his life. His siblings, Scott Tyree Jr., Heather (Joey) Cummings, and Shannon (Mark) Beach, have lost a beloved brother who was always there for them. Additionally, he will be fondly remembered by his granddaughter, Kaylynn Beagle, and his uncles, Jack Kelly, Mike Kelly, Daniel Bussard, and Eugene Bussard, alongside several nieces, nephews, and cousins who all held a special place in his heart.

Chad enjoyed many recreational activities that brought him joy and fulfillment. He loved camping and often cherished moments spent in the great outdoors. He also found pleasure in visiting the casino and taking his mother to play BINGO, an activity they both delighted in.

Chad was predeceased by his father, David J. Kelly, and his brother, Anthony Kelly, who will be watching over him from above.

A visitation in his honor will take place on December 12, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at the Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home located at 1202 West Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. All who knew and loved Chad are invited to attend and pay their respects as they remember a man who was loved and will be deeply missed.
