Dorothy A. Robertson-Rodmaker, age 77, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Marion General Hospital.
Dorothy was born on February 25, 1943 in Paint Lick, Kentucky the daughter of the late Coleman and Jessie (Richardson) Neeley. She married James Robertson on March 19, 1960, and he preceded her in death on February 25, 2002.
Dorothy had volunteered for the Grant County Cancer Society and cared of individuals in their homes. Dorothy also worked as a secretary in the Emergency Room Department at Marion General Hospital until her retirement in 1996. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church and enjoyed being a volunteer. She loved spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren. Dorothy’s hobbies included reading and crocheting. Dorothy married Rod Rodmaker on May 4, 2017, and he survives.
She is survived by her husband, Rod Rodmaker of Marion; a son, James (Gail) Robertson of Marion; two daughters, Patty (Brian) Harrison and Jessica (Gary) Muncy, both of Marion; a brother, Ralph (Nancy) Neeley of Richmond, Kentucky; three sisters, Maude (Ronald) Moberly of Richmond, Kentucky, Diane Segeda of Marion and Mary Craig of Marion; 8 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
Private family services will be held with burial in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Marion (Huntington County), Indiana.
Arrangements are entrusted to Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
