ELIZABETH F. "Frances" BROWN, age 85, died at 5:15 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2009, at Colonial Oaks Health & Rehabilitation Center, Marion.
FRANCES was born on May 31, 1924, in Owensboro, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Russell & Lillian Teal. On September 30, 1990, she married Harold Brown who survives. She was a unit clerk at St Joseph Hospital in Tampa Florida, retiring in 1988.
She was an extremely hard worker, a member of the Marion Moose Lodge #251 and belonged to the Ladies of the Moose.
Survivors include husband, Harold Brown of Marion; daughter, Bonnie Robinson of Gas City; daughter, Billie Diane Sluder of Marion; sister, Juanita Glover of Marion; 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
Frances was preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene J. Gibson, step-son, Stewart Brown; brother, Scott Teal and grandson, Shane Sluder.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, with the Rev. Don Miller officiating.
Burial will be in Estates of Serenity, Marion, Indiana.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, Tuesday, June 23 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
