Jack “David” Poole, age 66 of Marion made his transition on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at his home.
David was born on January 5, 1955 in Flint, Michigan the son of the late Jack and Viva Jean (Bishop) Poole. He married Diane Bowman on August 27, 1977, and she survives.
David was a graduate of Oak Hill High School in 1973 and was the owner of Trademaster Plumbing & Heating, Inc. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an accomplished wood worker having built him and his grandson a cabin. David loved spending time with his grandson.
He is survived by his wife, Diane Poole of Marion; two daughters, Darcy (Matt) Randall of Jonesboro and Beverly Poole of Marion; two sisters, Paula (David) McNeely of Fishers and Carla Turner of Sweetser; a grandson, David Randall; and nieces, Leah Combs, Emily Turner and Katie Cramer.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul Poole in 2003.
Friends and family may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Jahn officiating.
Entombment will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Marion (Huntington County), Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2211 N. Oak Park Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60707; or to the Marion Grant County Humane Society, 505 S. Miller Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953.
