Janice K. “Jan” Graham Brown, 77 of Marion, Indiana passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022, in Arlington, Texas at home with her family.
Jan was born July 17, 1945, in Marion, Indiana to Elwin L. and Clarell Nadine (Skinner) Graham.
Faith, family and friends were a vital part of Jan’s life. She attended First Church of the Nazarene, Marion, Indiana and Lakeview Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed helping others through her years as a Massage Therapist and Instructor of Swedish Massage at Graham School of Massage Therapy. She treasured the short period of time she worked in the Physical Therapy Department at the Marion Veterans Administration Hospital. Jan served as Secretary for Farm Bureau and was very active in other community organizations throughout her life. She was a proud graduate of the Oak Hill High School Class of 1963 and particularly enjoyed the gatherings to plan alumni events.
She is survived by her sister, Dena Jayne Taylor of Toronto, Ontario, and her daughters Amy (William) McVay of Moorhead, Minnesota, and Arica (David) Butler, of Arlington, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elwin L. and Clarell Nadine (Skinner) Graham; and her brother, Earl E. Graham of Marion.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Monday, September 12, 2022 at the First Church of the Nazarene, 700 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. Funeral Services will begin at Noon with Reverend Mark Hinshaw and Pastor David Butler officiating.
Burial will follow funeral services in Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
