John Mark Jones

John Mark Jones, age 57, of Lafayette, passed away in Lafayette, Indiana at 4:15 p.m. on Monday, September 26, 2022.

He was born in Marion on August 31, 1965, to the late James Walter Jones and Frances Louise (Williams) Jones.   John loved motorcycles, fishing and the color “purple”.

He is survived by his son, Cordea of Lafayette; and daughter, NiKita of Kokomo; brothers, Elvis (Dena) Jones of Lafayette, Keith (Tina) Jones of Kokomo and Ronnie Jones of Marion; sister, Annette (John) McGee of Marion; four granddaughters; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Walter and Frances Jones, sister, Pamela Regina Richard, and brother, Anthony Jones.

We love you and will miss you.  You will always be in our hearts.

The family will receive visitors from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral Services will begin at Noon with Pastor Andrew Morrell officiating.

Burial will immediately follow funeral services in Estates of Serenity Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
