Judy A. Holman

Judy A. Holman, a cherished homemaker and beloved member of her community, peacefully passed away on June 26, 2025, in Marion, Indiana, at the age of 84. Born on July 10, 1940, in Andersonville, Tennessee, Judy lived a life filled with love, devotion, and purpose.

Throughout her life, Judy was known for her nurturing spirit and her unwavering commitment to her family. She was a proud mother to her daughters, Sherri (Robert) Hyatt and daughter-in-law Lori Holman. Judy's legacy is further carried on by her grandchildren, including Bethany (Tanner) Peters, T. J. (Abby) Holman, Allison (Deshea) Downam, and Sydney Hyatt. The joy of her life expanded with the arrival of her great-grandchildren: Hazel Holman, Alistair Holman, Primrose Holman, Brewer Peters, and Nolan Peters, all of whom brought immense happiness to her life.

Judy held close the memories of her late parents, Austin and Martha DeMarcus and her late husband James E. Holman as well as her late son, Terry Holman, and brothers, Taylor and Kenny DeMarcus and one great grandson Crew Peters. Her love for her family was profound, and her absence will be deeply felt by those who knew and loved her.

Beyond her role as a mother and grandmother, Judy found joy in the little things—she thoroughly enjoyed camping and cherished the time she spent wintering in Florida. Judy was a dedicated member of her faith community, regularly attending services at Grace Community Church and Southside Wesleyan Church, where she built lasting friendships and supported those around her.

Judy's visitation will be held on July 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM. Both services will take place at the Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home, located at 1202 West Kem Road, Marion, IN 46952.

As the family mourns the loss of this remarkable woman, they take comfort in the love and countless memories shared over the years. Judy A. Holman will be remembered not only for her devotion to her family but also for her kind spirit and the endless love she spread throughout her life.
