Kevin A. Brock, a lifelong resident of Marion, Indiana, passed away on July 14, 2026, in his hometown at the age of 51. Born on January 10, 1975, in Marion, Kevin was known as a dedicated family man and an individual of numerous talents and interests.

Kevin’s deep love for his family was always evident in his life, and he is survived by those who were most dear to him. His daughter, Austyn Brock, and his son, Kody Brock, remain a testament to his enduring devotion as a father. Kevin’s cherished role as a grandfather is carried on through his granddaughter Eden and grandson Kirin. He will be missed dearly by his mother, Carol (Bruce) Chalfant, and his father, Charles (Vicki) Brock. Kevin is also survived by his sisters Angie (Bud) Jamison and Jennifer (Bryan) Schamber, as well as his brother Jonathan (Victoria) Brock. In addition to his immediate family, Kevin’s memory endures with his friend, Bryan Blevins, and fiancé Whitney Morgan.

Throughout his life, Kevin demonstrated a passion for many pursuits and hobbies. He was an avid pool player who took great enjoyment in the camaraderie and challenge of the game. His hands skillfully crafted woodworks, a talent he approached with patience and dedication. Fishing provided Kevin moments of peace and joy, and he fondly recalled his younger years playing basketball, where his competitive spirit shone. Above all, his greatest joy remained the time spent surrounded by those he loved.

In addition to his hobbies and devotion to his family, Kevin was engaged with his local faith community. He attended Gods House and The River Churches in Marion, forming lasting bonds and finding spiritual fulfillment through these connections.

A visitation to honor Kevin’s life will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at God’s House Marion, located at 216 W 6th St, Marion, IN 46953. A funeral service will immediately follow at the same location at 12:00 p.m., with Pastor Joandy Angrand officiating.

The legacy of Kevin A. Brock will be reflected in the memories of his family, friends, and all who knew him. His warmth, talents, and true companionship will be deeply missed, but fondly remembered by those whose lives he touched.
