Lawrence A. "Larry" Janousek, Jr.

Lawrence A. “Larry” Janousek, Jr. age 57, of Indianapolis passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Larry was born on October 27, 1964 in Springfield, Illinois the son of Lawrence “Larry” Janousek and Carol (Damhorst) Janousek.

He was a graduate of Bennett High School Class of 1983, Marion, Indiana.  He then graduated from Quincy College in Quincy, Illinois with a Bachelors’ degree in Business and Marketing.  Larry worked in retail sales at Bergner’s, and Old Navy in Illinois, and Family Leisure in Indianapolis.  He was a die-hard Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.

He is survived by his parents, Larry and Carol Janousek; sisters, Melissa (Chad) Armstrong and Diane (Matthew) Myers; a brother, Robert Janousek; aunts and uncles, Mary Kay (John) Squires, Linda (Jack) Heding, Linda Janousek, and Don Stanek; nieces and nephews, Brandon Scott, Will Thornton, Whitney Thornton, McKayla Thornton, Daniel Myers and Colin Andrew Myers; and many cousins and friends.

Visitation will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Father Ted Rothrock officiating.
