Roy Oyler, age 76, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2012, at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, Marion, Indiana, and is now off fishing with Tony.
Roy was born on February 27, 1936, in Marion, Indiana, the son of the late John Peter Oyler and Alice Marguerite (Dangerfield) Oyler.
Roy was an Army veteran and a truck driver for 30 years.
Survivors include: daughter, Brenda Sue Webb of Gas City, Indiana; brother, Marvin Oyler of Marion, Indiana; sister, Margaret Rayburn; three grandchildren, Muffy, Ryan & Jack; and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two sons, Jeffrey Linn and Tony; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth; brothers, Johnny, Ralph and Russell Oyler; and granddaughter, Nikki.
There will be no visitation or funeral services. Burial will be private at the convenience of family.
