In Loving Memory of Sondra Kay Stevens

Sondra Kay Stevens, 83, of Marion, Indiana, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Sondra was born on September 7, 1943, to Gordon and Gertrude Galbreath Crist. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Sondra spent much of her career working at Delco Electronics, JCPenney and co-owner of Tri R Steamer Carpet Cleaner and Water Restoration.

Sondra enjoyed camping, water skiing, and golf. She especially loved playing golf at Arbor Trace Golf Course, where she proudly recorded a hole-in-one on a par 3, and an eagle on a par 4. She also loved her flowers and bird feeders and enjoyed watching the birds each morning.

Most of her friends and family affectionately called her Sonnie. Those who knew Sonnie will remember her for her wonderful sense of humor, kind heart, and willingness to help others. She also gave her time to the charitable organization Help the Hopeful, helping to make a difference in the lives of others.

Sondra is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Donovan Stevens; her children, Randy, Rich, and Ryan; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Jane and Sue, and her brother, Barney.

Sondra will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her laughter, kindness, and love will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
