Teresa
(Mills) Johnson
Aug 17, 1960 — Jul 3, 2026
Teresa (Mills) Johnson, born August 17, 1960, in Marion, Indiana, to Roger and Ruth (Daylrymple) Johnson. A 1978 graduate of Marion High School and was preceded in death by her husband David L. Hall in 1989. Left Indiana in 1990 for Baltimore and stayed 20 years and came home to Marion in 2011.
So many opportunities out East. My wonderful job with US Foods, Baltimore-Washington Division for 17 1/2 years was amazing and the people I met...I will never forget.
I took my passions of life wanting to be the Best Golfer, Friend, Mentor, and even though I didn't come out the best, I knew I had given it my 100%, and that was good enough for me.
I got involved in the Elks Lodge #2266 in Glen Burnie, MD and worked diligently through all of the chairs and travelled to all Grand Lodge Conventions to gain knowledge throughout the USA. It paid off: I became the First Woman Exalted Ruller at 2266 and made forever friendships.
During Operation Iraqi Freedom I volunteered with Wounded Warriors and SMGA (Salute Military Golf Association) at Walter Reed. By reteaching amputees to get their golf back or by introducing a new game for soldiers to take with them as part of therapy. To say this was fulfilling of my heart does not begin to touch words.
To the re-connected old friendships since being home has been like a familiar rocking chair. And, to the many new friends I've met along the way I treasure you too.
This is the hardest part of all... David W. Gray, friends since 1970 running into you in such an unexpected way: GOLF. You turned my world around...You ARE my Soulmate for life and I knew it! Through the ups and downs, we have been a real team, only wanting to bring the best out in each other no matter what. For your unconditional love I am eternally grateful. If I can love you from heaven as much as you loved me on earth = "We've got this".
To family, friends, and acquaintances I leave you this: There are 3 things that remain: Faith, Hope, and Love. The greatest is Love.
