Tracey Diskey, a beloved son, partner, father, brother, and friend, passed away on May 15, 2025, in Converse, Indiana. Born on August 20, 1972, in Marion, Indiana, Tracey touched the lives of many through his work and personal passions.
Tracey dedicated his career as a union construction worker, a testament to his strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family. He also brought joy to many as a pizza prep worker at Brooks Upper Crust Pizza. His hands were not just skilled in labor; they crafted delicious meals that brought people together.
In his personal life, Tracey embraced a vibrant array of interests and hobbies that showcased his adventurous spirit. He had a profound love for riding his Heritage Softail motorcycle, feeling a true sense of freedom on the open road. An avid grill master, he delighted friends and family with cookouts, often finding any occasion, big or small, to fire up the grill and create lasting memories. Fishing was a cherished pastime in his younger years, and he maintained a passion for traveling and sightseeing. Among his favorite adventures were memorable trips to iconic landmarks such as Mount Rushmore and the Statue of Liberty, which he enjoyed exploring with friends.
Tracey is survived by his loving mother, Brenda J. Diskey; his soul mate, Dolly Holbrook; his sons, Seth Diskey and Tyler Cooper; his brothers, Ken Diskey and Jeff Hayes; his sisters, Darla Diskey and Melissa Shildmyer; as well as four cherished grandchildren who were the light of his life. He is also remembered fondly by close friends Josh, Jeff, Will, Glen, and Little Brooks, who shared countless moments and adventures with him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Leroy Diskey, whose memory Tracey carried with him throughout his life.
Visitation will be held on May 21, 2025, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home, located at 1202 West Kem Road, Marion, Indiana, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the same location.
Tracey Diskey will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those he loved.
