William was the beloved son of Dewey and Nadine Bryant, both of whom preceded him in death. His childhood in Tennessee was shared with his siblings, including his late sister, Mildred Brooks, and his late brother, Virgil Bryant. He is survived by his sister, Nita Webb, who was a devoted presence in his life.

William was a man with wide-ranging interests. His passion for golf led him to become club champion at Lakeview Golf Course—an achievement reflecting his dedication and skill. He also enjoyed the quiet challenge of working on jigsaw puzzles, a pastime that spoke to his patience and thoughtful attention to detail.
