William A. McCoy, age 54, died at 3:12 a.m. Sunday, May 23, 2010 in Marion General Hospital, Marion, Indiana.
William was born on October 10, 1955 in Marion, Indiana to Robert McCoy, Sr. and Phyllis (Waggy) McCoy.
He was a bus driver for the Marion Community School System for 22 years, retiring in 2005. William was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters, and playing cards and board games.
Survivors include, his Father and Mother, Robert and Phyllis McCoy of Marion, Indiana; four sons, Willy McCoy of Marion, Indiana, Wade McCoy of Marion, Indiana, Brad Songer of Hartford City, Indiana, and Chad Songer of Marion, Indiana; one daughter, Amy Harah of Gas City, Indiana; two brothers, Mark McCoy (Tonya) of Marion, Indiana, and Robert McCoy, Jr. of Marion, Indiana; sister, Belinda Sage of Gas City, Indiana; half-sister, Linda Gordon (James) of Alabama; and two granddaughters, Emily Paige McCoy and Olivia Voland.
Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, May 28 in Raven-Choate Funeral Home.
