Barbara E. Faulk

Barbara Ellen Faulk, age 82, of Marion, passed away at 9:20 a.m. on Thursday, April 29, 2021, at Miller's Merry Manor, in Marion.  She was born in Selmer, Tennessee on August 21, 1938, to loving parents, Dick and Opal (Curlin) Tidwell.

Barbara graduated from Marion High School and attended Indiana Business College.  She was an Executive Secretary to the Plant Manager at Anaconda Erickson.  Barbara was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Marion.

Barbara will be greatly missed by a brother, James (Sharon) Tidwell of Upland; a sister, Bonnie (Robert) Day of Wabash; sons, Jeffry Faulk of Marion and Rodney (Claudia) Faulk of Marion; granddaughters, Jennifer (Alex) Munson of Suffield, Connecticut, and Rachael Faulk, of Spring Lake, North Carolina; and great-grandson, Scott Coates, of Spring Lake, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Barbara enjoyed family gatherings, spending time with friends, traveling, and shopping trips.  As a young mom, Barbara enjoyed listening to The Beatles, Elvis Presley, and Glen Campbell.  She also loved the family dog, Duke, the family cat, "Tom," and the family horse, "Red."

Friends and family may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Visitation will also take place from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 6, 2021 in the funeral home prior to funeral services.  Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Fredrick Hearn officiating.

Burial will immediately follow funeral services in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Marion (Huntington County), Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Marion-Grant County Humane Society, 505 S. Miller Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953.
