Dickie Lee Obituary

Dickie B. Lee, age 90, of Fairmount, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023, in his home surrounded by his family.

Dickie was born on May 26, 1932 in Fairmount, Indiana the son of the late Lloyd and Mildred (Summers) Lee. 

Dickie was a 1950 graduate of Fairmount High School.  He married Shirley Ann Pitt on March 21, 1955, and she preceded him in death on May 25, 2021.   He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.

After retirement, he enjoyed restoring antique tractors, and his 1940 Farmall H was his favorite.  He loved cruising around Fairmount on his decked- out golf cart. Dickie and Shirley enjoyed spending the winter months at their second home in Homosassa Springs, Florida.

Dickie was a member of the Fairmount Masonic Lodge #635 F&AM; the American Legion Post #95, Jonesboro; the N.I.P.A. Tractor Club in Valparaso, and Mid-America Thrashing Tractor Club in Tipton. 

He is survived by a son, James E. Lee of Fairmount; a daughter, Tamera (Keith) Allen of Summitville; 2 grandchildren, Jamie Diane (Willie) Bowman and Nicholas William Allen (Lauren Colasanti); and 6 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Cancer Services of Grant County, 305 S. Norton Avenue, Tower Suites, Marion, Indiana 46952.

Private Graveside Services will be held at a later date in Park Cemetery, Fairmount, Indiana.

Arrangements are entrusted to Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
