Don C. Horn

Don C. Horn, age 70 of Huntington, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 in his home.

Don was born on September 4, 1951 in Redwood City, California the son of the late Bernard and Pauline M. (Sparks) Horn. 

He was a journeyman at Tolkeim in Ft. Wayne and, in Industrial Machine repair at Shuttleworth in Huntington.   He married Donna Kay Bragg on April 19, 1991, and she survives.    He and Donna shared the same birthday, and he always said “They traveled many miles and 40 years to find each other. “

Don loved NASCAR racing and customizing his old fishing boat and had many plans with his grandson, Azariah.  He loved spending time at home and got a kick out of people noticing his “Genuine Old Fart” license plate.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Kay Horn; his children, Michael (Clarissa) Horn, Matthew Horn, Laura (Justin) Hosler, Daniel (Jen) Horn, Angela (Mark) Lehman, and Jeremy Page; a step-son, Tedd (Amy) Ward;  former daughter-in-law, Renee Wagner; sisters, Ruth (Larry) Earnest and Claudia (John) Howell; father-in-law, Robert B. Bragg; numerous grandchildren and one step great-grandchild.

He was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Bonnie Bragg.

Arrangements are entrusted to Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Cremation will take place and there will be no visitation or funeral services.

The family requests that in his memory do as Don did.  Give big warm hugs and say: “I love you”
