Donna J. King

Donna J. King, age 70 of Converse passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021 at home with her daughter by her side.

Donna was born April 10, 1951 the daughter of the late Max and Mary (Duncan) Pattison.   She attended Oak Hill High School and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Women of the Moose, both in Wabash.  As a member of Women of the Moose, she received the “College of Regents” honor, the highest honor that can be achieved.

Donna enjoyed spending time with her family and friends playing Aggravation, family cook-outs, traveling and video chatting with her great grandbabies.  Donna never met a stranger she treated everyone like family with an open heart, without judgment.  She always lived by the Golden Rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”.  And, if you don’t forgive others, God won’t forgive you.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Dawn Zook-Crecelius and Anthony (Lisa) Brown; brother, Ronnie (Juanita) Bevington; sister, Diana Oaks; sister-in-law, Mary Bevington; grandchildren Troy (Crisany) Zook, Tray (Mayra) Zook, Monica Brown; 11 great-grandchildren; and her fur babies, Buddy and Peaches.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Kenneth Bevington and Bennie Pattison; nephew, Adam Oaks, and the love of her life fiance’, Dennis Conliff.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral Services will begin at 4:00 p.m.  Cremation will follow funeral services.
