Frances Mae (Ward) Quick

Frances Mae (Ward) Quick, age 90 of Marion left this world escorted by her two sons on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 to be with her Lord & Savior.

Frances was born March 20, 1931 in Shirley, Arkansas to her loving parents the late Walter and Bethel (Millwood) Ward.

In her early years, Frances worked at General Tire, several retail stores and she opened 330 Daycare in Shirley, Arkansas where she loved and adored the many children that she cared for until she retired.  Frances loved the Lord and that showed in how she loved all that she met.  She always had a kind word and had a way of making sure you knew that you mattered always having an ear to lend.  Frances loved shopping and fashion and is remembered for making the best birthday cakes for her grandchildren.

Frances is survived by her beloved daughter, Flo (Terry) Rennaker of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas; sisters, Wanda (Duane) Shannon of Clinton, Arkansas, and Gloria (Don) Coon of Marion; 10 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 32 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and her childhood friend, Katie Warrick of Marion, Indiana.

She was also preceded in death by her two sons, Orben D. Quick and Davery Joe Quick; three brothers, Jerry Ward, Tony Ward and Zane Ward; and three sisters, Faye Eubanks, Martha Reiter and Betty Lovens.

A special thank you to the Staff at Wyndmoor Assisted Living and Heart-to-Heart Hospice.  Our family is truly grateful for all of the love, kindness and wonderful care that you showed Frannie.  She loved each and every one of you.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 9, 2021 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary Lovens officiating.

Burial will immediately follow funeral services at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
