Fred "Mike" J. Loschiavo

 Fred J.”Mike” Loschiavo , age 85, of Marion, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Rolling Meadows, LaFontaine, Indiana.

 Mike was born on July 21, 1935 in Hamilton, Ohio the son of the late Michael and Edna (Norvell) Loschiavo.  He married Barbara Stolts, on August 10, 1968 they were married for 52 years.  Mike worked at General Motors and retired in 2004, after 47 years. 

 He was a member of the UAW Union at General Motors.  Mike was in the U.S. Army and proudly served our country.  He enjoyed woodworking and going to the movies with family and friends.

 In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Mary Wilson (Kory) of Walton, Indiana; brother Mike Loschiavo (Beth) of LaFontaine, Indiana; Tranette, Ginny, Michelle, Bob, Jim, Angie, Patty, Abby, Donna, Linda, Inky and Greg and several other nieces and nephews and even a few great nieces and nephews. 

 He is also preceded in death by his parents Michael and Edna (Norvell) Loschiavo; sister Mary Ellen Heflin and brother in-law Jack Heflin.

 Friends and Family may call from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Friday, June 25, 2021 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.

Funeral services will follow immediately after visitation, with Pastor Susan Schambaugh officiating.   

Burial will take place in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, at a later date.
