Gary Peterson

Gary Peterson, age 69 of Sims passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the Golden Living Center in Kokomo, Indiana.

Gary was born on January 19, 1952 in Bluffton, Indiana the son of the late Charles and Myrtle (Jones) Peterson.  He worked at Gen Corp for 10 years.  Gary was the World’s Biggest Chicago Cubs fan and an avid IU fan.  He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Texas.

He is survived by a son, Nolan (Sara) Peterson of Pennsylvania; two brothers, Darrell (Sandy) Peterson of Cicero and Bruce (Patricia) Peterson of Sweetser; three sisters, Linda (Billy) Roe of Washington, Julie Hawkins of Sims and Brenda (Jesse) Cottrell of Marion; two grandchildren, Ava and Braden along with several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. to Noon on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
