Jayme Shelton Obituary

Jayme M. Shelton, age 58, our beloved daughter, mother and grandmother passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Lutheran Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Jayme was born on January 17, 1963 in Marion, Indiana the daughter of the late Michael T. Heath and Carlotta (McCoy) Hobson. She was a 1981 graduate of Mississinewa High School and worked at WalMart. Jayme loved reading, especially books by Stephen King and Dean Koontz; and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Carlotta and Everett Hobson of Marion; a daughter, Morgan Shelton of Muncie; a son, Josh (Katherine) Shelton of Muncie; a brother, Brian (Betsy) Heath of Indianapolis; 3 grandchildren, Alexis, Verity and Merritt Shelton; and a niece, Harlow Heath.

Arrangements are entrusted to Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. Cremation will take place.
