Jeffrey A. Baker

Jeffrey A. Baker, age 68, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023 in his home.

Jeffrey was born on December 10, 1954 in Muncie, Indiana, the son of the late John and Ruth (Everett) Baker.  He married Kimberly Sprinkle on April 3, 1976 and they shared 45 years of marriage together before her death on May 16, 2021.

Jeffrey worked in production at Active Products in Marion for over 20 years, and then at Atlas Foundry until his retirement. 

Jeffrey is survived by two sons, Jason Baker (Michele) of Ohio and Ryan Baker (Mandy) of Marion; a sister, Phyllis Vargo (Jim) of Schererville, Indiana; and grandchildren, Nolan, Trevor, Kylee, Dylan and Alyssa Baker.   He was also preceded in death by a sister, Linda Sherrick.

He enjoyed going to the Ducktail Run with his 1972 Ford LTD Convertible.   He was also an avid NASCAR fan especially of driver Chase Elliott, and loved watching Indiana Hoosiers Basketball. 

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral Services will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Mark Hummel officiating.
