Jewell A. Street

Jewell A. Street, age 72 of Marion passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 in her home.

Jewell was born on July 22, 1948 in Jonesboro, Indiana the daughter of the late Aurthur and Georgia (Lynch) Turner.   She was a 1967 graduate of Mississinewa High School.  Jewell married Rolland Street on September 29, 1973, and he survives. 

She worked as a teacher’s aide, an administrative assistant and also in food service at Marion Community Schools for over 20 years.   Jewell was a member of the Redhatters, the Mississinewa Valley Corvette Club and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary in Wabash.

She is survived by her husband, Rolland Street of Marion; two sons, Travis Street of Indianapolis and Scott (Kari) Street of Brownsburg; two brothers, David Turner of Jonesboro and Art Turner of Metairie, Louisiana; and two grandchildren, Gabrielle and Griffin.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Martha Belle Turner.

Cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are entrusted to Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.
