Judy A. McKinney

Judy A. McKinney, age 72, of Marion passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 in her home.

Judy was born December 5, 1947 in Marion, Indiana the daughter of the late Francis Neeley and Margaret (Ellis) Sloderbeck.  She married Charles McKinney in 1980, and he survives.

She was a nurse’s assistant at the Marion VA Hospital for 25 years until her retirement.  She loved reading her Bible and doing crossword puzzles.  She loved her cat, Cooter.  Judy was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband, Charles McKinney of Marion; a daughter, Rosanna (Thomas) Dixon of Wasilla, Alaska; a sister, Mary (Bill) Carter of LaFontaine; grandchildren, Steven T. (Amanda) Johnson, Nicole E. (Gilberto) Rivera, Bradley R. Johnson and Katherin G. Dixon; and great-grandchildren, Zoey, Hayley, Mary, Adriana, Ava and Abigail.

Judy was also preceded in death by her step-father, Marion Sloderbeck; and a brother, Dale Neeley.

Graveside Services and Burial will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana with Chaplain Brian Daehn officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, 1465 S. Grand Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63104.
