Kelly E. Buckler

Kelly E. Buckler, age 59 of Marion passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Wesleyan Health Care Center in Marion.

Kelly was born on September 1, 1961 in Marion, Indiana the son of the late Jiles Buckler and Patricia (Lahr) Buckler. 

Kelly was very outgoing and had a big personality.  He never met a stranger and always made everyone in the room laugh.  Everyone called him “Crazy Kelly” because he had a crazy sense of humor.  He was not afraid to cut up and act goofy.  Kelly was a BIG KID.  He loved to grill at cookouts for the family, have big bonfires, listen to music, and drink cold beer with his best friends, Timi and Pat May.  Kelly loved his two cats.  He would give anyone the shirt off his back.  Kelly will be missed by everyone.

He is survived by his mother, Patricia Buckler of Marion; children, Kelly Buckler, Jr., Dakota Buckler, Haley Buckler and Cherokee Buckler, all of Ft. Wayne; siblings, Mary Knight (the late Bobby Knight) of Converse, Ronda Williams Hadley (Chuck) of Tennessee, Candy Doubish (Bill) of Alabama, Scott Buckler (Ruby) of Missouri; brothers-in-law, Doug Long, Dennis Walter and Clyde Williams.

Kelly was also preceded in death by a sister, Margie Long.

 Arrangements are entrusted to Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 407 E. Stephenson Street, Marion, Indiana.
