Lillie Quick Obituary

Lillie F. Quick, age 95, of Marion passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Colonial Oaks Health & Rehabilitation Center in Marion.

Lille was born on January 30, 1923 in Brodhead, Kentucky the daughter of the late Worth and Mary Vera (Castle) Brock.  She married David Luther Quick on February 14, 1969 and he preceded her in death on August 15, 2009.   She worked at Ball Foster for 20 years until her retirement.

Lillie was a member of the South Marion Church of Christ in Marion.  She loved crocheting, quilting and was very talented at it.  She volunteered at the Salvation Army Angel Tree and donated her sewing and quilting to nursing homes for lap quilts. 

Lillie is survived by two sons, Larry (Jane) Williams of Gas City and James Williams of Flint, Michigan; step-son, Davery Quick of Marion; daughters, Shirley Rodgers of Roanoke, Judy (James) McGreevy of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Debra (Ronald) Williams of Marion; step-daughter, Florence (Terry) Rennaker of South Carolina; siblings, Flora Neal, Loretta Bussell, Ora Yeary, Edward Brock, and Ruthie Petrey; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by children, Mary Lou Williams, Billy Williams, Charles Lee Williams and Vera McDonald; step-son, Orben Quick; and siblings, Wilburn Brock, Eva Brock and Abaline Brock.

Friends and family may call from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral Services will be held at noon with Pastor Mick Simpkins officiating.

Burial will follow Funeral Services in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
