Melissa Lynn (Bish) Dasch

Melissa Lynn (Bish) Dasch passed away January 22, 2023.  Mrs. Dasch was born in Marion, Indiana on October 7, 1951.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald P. Dasch, her mother and father, Dorothy J. (Kaylor) Bish and Kenneth A. Bish as well as a sister, Rebecca (Bish) Wallenburg Green.

Mrs. Dasch lived all of her life in Marion, Indiana graduating from Marion High School and then going on to work as a patternmaker and eventually in the CAD/CAM for Fisher Body Division of General Motors. She is best remembered for her love of horses, most specifically Arabians which she owned and trained, competing with her horses all over the country and in Canada.

Mrs. Dasch is survived by two sisters, Alison (George) Comas, California and Sarah Logue, Florida; nieces, Chris Comas, and Sharon Comas; a nephew, Aaron (Laura) Wallenburg; eight great nieces and nephews: Max, Rowan, Gwendolyn, Auggie, Kyle, Alexa, Grant and Garrett; as well as her dear friend and caregiver, Shannon Fouce and his two children, Ariah and Kadin.

Memorial donations can be made to the Marion-Grant County Humane Society, 505 S. Miller Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46952.

Arrangements are entrusted to Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  As per Melissa's wishes, cremation will take place.
