Michael F. Flinn

Michael F. Flinn of Marion passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Marion General Hospital. 

Mike was born January 17, 1943 in Columbus, Ohio the son of Robert F. Flinn and Marjorie (Flinn) Black.  He graduated from Marion High School in 1961.  He worked at Foster Forbes for 40 years retiring in 2000.  Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting rabbits and was a great cook.

He married the love of his life Jinx (Horner) Flinn on September 14, 1963.  In addition to his wife he is survived by 4 children, Shawn (Jacklyn) Flinn, Sheri (Scott) Reneer, Sheila VanNess and Shelley Flinn; 7 grandchildren, Kreig (Ashlee) Holmes, Ashlee (Erivon) Burks, Rikki Reneer, Kyle (Faith Staton) VanNess, Kaylee VanNess, Kortney VanNess, and Kelsey (Zack) Jones; 16 great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by both of his parents, a sister, Patricia (Flinn) Boots and a grandson, Dereck A. VanNess.
