Mildred E. Worrell

Mildred E. Worrell, age 95, of Marion passed away Tuesday morning, July 16, 2019 at Rolling Meadows Health and Rehabilitation Center in LaFontaine, Indiana.

Mildred was born on October 30, 1923 in Coweta, Oklahoma the daughter of the late William and Nellie (Gilchrist) Sloman.  She married Robert E. Worrell on February 17, 1945, and he preceded her in death on October 3, 2018. 

Mildred owned and operated Worrell Star Flite with her husband Robert. 

She is survived by two sons, W. Robert Worrell (Judy) of Hopkins, Minnesota and John Worrell (Cindy) of Weirsdale, Florida; two daughters, Terry Rohall (Gert) of LaFontaine, Indiana and Lisa Mingus (Bart) of Marion, Indiana; a sister-in-law, Juanita Sloman of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Kedron Ripley (Dana), Kasey Hatzung (Dan) Kai Worrell (Sarah), Kit Sheppard (Adam), Katie Worrell, Shane Farr (Denise), Lindsay Gorman (Mike) and Ashlie Sloan (Allen); and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, John Sloman; and a brother-in-law, William C. Worrell.

Burial will take place in Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.  There will be no services.
