Patricia S. "Patty" Sachse

Patricia S. “Patty” Sachse, age 67 of Marion passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Patty was born on April 20, 1953 in Marion, Indiana the daughter of the late John and Mary (Kegley) Ratliff.  She graduated from Mississinewa High School in 1971 and then attended Beauty School.  She married Ron Sachse on October 28, 1995. Patty worked at STAR Financial Bank for 30 years.

Patty loved being social and hosting parties especially around the holidays, and her “White Elephant” party was always a favorite for all.  She loved planting flowers in the Spring and enjoyed traveling especially on their trips through Italy and France.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Sachse of Marion; sisters, Judy Ratliff of Indianapolis, Marilyn Barnett of Evansville, Pam (Jack) Hutchison of Marion, Barbara (Ed) Cooper of Evansville and Kathy (John) Larsen of Owensboro, Kentucky; several nieces, nephews and many great friends.

Friends and family may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 19, 2021 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana.  Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Tom Mansbarger officiating.

Burial will follow funeral services in Estates of Serenity Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Services of Grant County, 305 S. Norton Avenue Tower Suites, Marion, Indiana 46952; or to the Marion-Grant County Humane Society, 505 S. Miller Avenue, Marion, Indiana 46953.
